Photoclubbing<\/strong><\/mark><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apr\u00e8s plusieurs d\u00e9cennies de photographies, RENCONTRES <\/strong>est la premi\u00e8re r\u00e9trospective de Fran\u00e7oise Chadaillac autour de trois de ses projets majeurs : La reine de la patate ou Les cantines du d\u00e9tour, Gens de Seattle, Droit de regard<\/strong>, tous r\u00e9unis pour la premi\u00e8re fois \u00e0 la Fabrique Culturelle dans le cadre de Photoclubbing<\/strong>, le mois palaisien de la photo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

samedi 13 janvier 2024 <\/strong>\u00e0 16h30 \u00e0 la Fabrique Culturelle et \u00e0 19h \u00e0 la MJC<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fran\u00e7oise Chadaillac,<\/strong> n\u00e9e en 1949 en Chine, \u00e0 Kunming, obtient des dipl\u00f4mes de Lettres Modernes puis de Sociologie \u00e0 Paris dans les ann\u00e9es 70. Apr\u00e8s ses premiers portraits de rues pris en autodidacte en Am\u00e9rique du Nord, une bourse lui est attribu\u00e9e par le minist\u00e8re des affaires culturelles du Qu\u00e9bec en 1981 pour son projet sur les stands \u00e0 patates \u00e0 frites de la province. Elle rentre ensuite en France et devient assistante de production \u00e0 Antenne 2 puis documentaliste audio-visuel \u00e0 France 2. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elle travaille de nombreuses ann\u00e9es aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de Bernard Pivot qui pr\u00e9facera le projet qu\u2019elle m\u00e8ne depuis 1973 \u00ab\u00a0La route est belle<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb o\u00f9 elle dresse en photos et en mots le portrait de La Douce France qui ne fut pas le pays de son enfance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Son travail sur l\u2019Am\u00e9rique du Nord et les banlieues fran\u00e7aises a fait l\u2019objet de nombreuses publications et expositions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

En 2020, les \u00e9ditions Loco publient La reine de la patate \u2013 ou les cantines du d\u00e9tour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
